What to do if you have symptoms of COVID-19
If you have
any symptoms of COVID-19, even if you are vaccinated, you need to self-isolate, (stay in your room) and get
a COVID-19 test.
To get a
free COVID-19 test you can
· Phone a GP
· Book a test online
· Go to a walk-in test centre

in doubt about any symptoms you have or if you need medical advice or support

Covid-19-related consultations are free of charge, however whichever practice
you call you are asked to have your PPS number ready.
If you test
positive your close contacts may also need to restrict their movements (stay at home). What they need to do will
depend on their vaccination status, their health and immune system and if they
tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 9 months. If they have symptoms, even if they are vaccinated, they need to self-isolate, (stay in their room) and
get a COVID-19 test.
