Students who are currently studying in CIT under the Erasmus programme are advised to contact their home institutions for advice in relation to whether they should remain in Ireland or travel back to their home countries. Erasmus students who chose to travel home should notify the CIT International Office of their decisions by email to email@example.com. Erasmus students who chose to continue with their studies in CIT should follow the standard advice that CIT is issuing on a regular basis to all of its students.
FULL-TIME INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
All international students who are studying on a full-time basis in CIT should follow the standard advice that CIT is issuing on a regular basis to all of its students.
We are asking all full-time international students not to travel during the Easter period. Where bookings have already been made and not refundable the Institute will reimburse reasonable costs.
STUDY & PROTECT INSURANCE COVER
For NON EU Students who have all taken out the ODON Study and
Protect insurance product, please be assured that the insurers will be in a
position to cover this Corona Virus disease if students were to contract it and
if they were admitted to hospital this would also be covered. Please note if
the students have the standard/superior medical insurance the excess of €100.00
or €50.00 applies therefore they are responsible for the first €100.00 or
€50.00 of this claim depending on which policy they have purchased,
anything after this amount will then be reimbursed by the insurers.
